TNW ENSEMBLE THEATER

Established in 1985, TNW Ensemble Theater creates, produces and performs original works, collaborating with artists working in the disciplines of theater, tap dance, visual arts and music; brings the arts to audiences of all ages and backgrounds; encourages participation in the arts through outreach; and enriches the lives of individuals and communities.

STEP RIGHT UP, MA'AM 

What do a formerly enslaved woman running for her freedom, a hidden child during the Holocaust, and Mary Magdalene have in common? More than you might think. These remarkably strong women are all featured as characters in Step Right Up, Ma’am - Stories of Resilience.

The Neil Allen Peckett Memorial Fund offers individuals financial assistance in pursuing the study of tap dance and/or other educational activities of TNW Ensemble Theater, as well as providing free tickets to performances and other special projects.

COLLABORATION

TNW Ensemble Theater has collaborated with organizations like KR Theater as well as schools around Madison for youth and community-based arts activities.

TAP DANCE

Our ongoing rhythm tap dance classes, for ages 10 and older, emphasize the musicality of tap dance, its rich traditions, and rhythmic possibilities.
